2. CBGB is closing. Thats right, my friends, CBGB's is done on The Bowery. It will close on Halloween 2006. The owner, Hil Kristal, is looking for new locations in Manhattan, and might open one in Vegas. I know it's stupid, dont shoot the messenger.
3. The New Pantheon nominees have been announced. This award, created by one of the co-creaters of the now defunct Shortlist prize, will announce the winner during a concert in Febuary. Have fun checking out the list of nominees
